Delaware Sportsbooks COVID-19 Update (9/16/2020)

  • Post category:Information

It feels like sports are almost all the way back with the NFL starting, NBA and NHL playoffs, and the MLB in full swing.

At the time of my last update in June, none of the sportsbooks in Delaware were reopened yet. Since then, all three sportsbooks have reopened (with some restrictions and policy changes).

Here are the current restrictions and hours of each sportsbook:

Delaware Park

The Delaware Park Sportsbook is open and is temporarily located on the casino side of the second floor. You cannot access the sportsbook from the clubhouse (track side). To get to the sportsbook, you should park and enter on the front side of the casino.

Delaware Park has set up socially distant betting terminals and teller lines, and all guests must wear masks. Wager sheets are only online, but there are physical parlay sheets available in the book.

The current hours are below. Note that these are subject to change without notice.

  • Monday – Saturday: 11 am – 11 pm
  • Sunday: 10 am – 11 pm

Dover Downs

The Dover Downs Sportsbook is now also open to mask-wearing customers. Like Delaware Park, wager sheets are only available online. In addition, food and beverages aren’t served and there is no seating for watching games.

Here are the hours that are subject to change without notice:

  • Monday – Friday: 12 pm – 8 pm
  • Saturday: 11 am – 8 pm
  • Sunday: 10 am – 5 pm

Harrington Raceway & Casino

Harrington’s sportsbook is open to guests wearing masks with the same stipulation that wager sheets are only available online besides parlay cards.

Here are the hours that are subject to change:

  • Monday – Friday: 11 am – 12 am
  • Saturday – Sunday: 10 am – 12 am
