Delaware Park is a casino, sportsbook, and horse racetrack located in Northern Delaware. The park was opened in 1937 and has been serving the residents of Delaware and the surrounding area ever since. It also has over 10 dining establishments, 4 bars, and an 18-hole golf course.

On June 5, 2018, Delaware fully legalized sports betting, allowing Delaware Park to open its sportsbook to start accepting single-game wagers in addition to the parlay cards previously allowed. Sports betting at Delaware Park is overseen by the Delaware Lottery which also sets all lines.

You can place bets with walk-up tellers and self-service machines on the first floor and the second-floor clubhouse at Delaware Park. There is also extensive seating, multiple boards with live odds, and countless TVs to watch games.

What is Sports Betting Like at Delaware Park?

The Sportsbook at Delaware Park has multiple floors, extensive seating, countless TVs, boards displaying live odds, and multiple options for food and drinks.

This leads to a comfortable and enjoyable experience at the sportsbook. You can place wagers and relax while you watch your games or simply place a bet and head out.

There are two ways to place wagers at the sportsbook: you can place a bet with one of the many human tellers or use the self-service machines. There is rarely a long wait (if any at all) to place a bet meaning you can quickly lock your wagers in before the lines change.

What is the Age to Bet at Delaware Park?

You must be 21 years old with valid ID to place bets at any sportsbook in Delaware—including Delaware Park. Children (18 and under) are permitted to be in the sportsbook but must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
